Ontario’s top doctor provides COVID-19 update as province pauses lifting capacity limits
In Toronto, Dr. Kieran Moore, Ontario’s chief medical officer of health, provides an update on the COVID-19 situation in the province. The update comes as Ontario pauses lifting capacity limits in remaining higher-risk settings where proof of vaccination is required as COVID-19 cases increase. Capacity limits at venues such as night clubs, wedding receptions and strip clubs were scheduled to be lifted on November 15, but that step is being delayed for at least 28 days. The province is reporting 454 new cases of COVID-19. (November 10, 2021)
