Ontario premier on 2 new schools for Etobicoke, COVID-19 modelling – October 30, 2020

Ontario Premier Doug Ford makes an announcement in Etobicoke and responds to questions about his government’s response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. He is joined by Stephen Lecce (provincial minister of education), as well as Dr. Barbara Yaffe (Ontario’s associate chief medical officer of health), Teresa Lubinski (Toronto catholic school trustee), Kinga Surma (MPP for Etobicoke Centre) and Christine Hogarth (MPP for Etobicoke-Lakeshore). They announce that the Ontario government is investing $62.4 million to build two new secondary schools in Etobicoke. Premier Ford and Dr. Yaffe also comment on the new coronavirus modelling released by the Ontario government the previous day.
