At a news conference on Parliament Hill, officials from the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, the Canada Revenue Agency, and the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security comment on recent cyberattacks that targeted thousands of CRA and GCKey online accounts. The CRA temporarily disabled online services in response to the attacks. Taking part in the briefing are Marc Brouillard (acting chief information officer for the Government of Canada), Annette Butikofer (the chief information officer for the Canada Revenue Agency) Scott Jones (head of the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security), and Lori MacDonald (the chief operating officer for Service Canada).
